With the arrival of the hot summer days it is only natural to see everyone flocking over to terrasses, I myself can spend hours on end sipping on a good glass of sangria or a nice little glass of rose. I love all of them from intimate to fancy there is one for every mood you're in. Here are ten of my favorite from hidden ones to the most popular in the city. Enjoy!

 

Koko Restaurant and Bar
8 Sherbrooke West
Located in the Opus hotel this is probably the most beautiful terrasse in Montreal, its decor is modern and simple it greets some of the most beautiful in the city. Open till the early mornings on the week end this is where you go to party.

La Croissanterie Figaro
5200 Hutchison
Hidden in the Outremont area this little patio is where all the people in the neighborhood flock to once its warm. This is where you go for breakfast, brunch and lunch. The name says it, they have the best croissants and coffees in the city. And its Parisian cafe ambiance makes you feel like you are somewhere else than Montreal.

407 Place Jacques Cartier
Located on the busiest street in the Old Montreal this patio is hidden away in the back, this garden terrace is surrounded by historical stone walls. It is very touristy but offers live Jazz music everyday, illuminated trees and is even heated for the chillier summer nights.

Loaded with Business men and women in suits this place is the hip place to go for a drink after work. They make an amazing mojito and serve fancy little snacks to nibble on while you are drinking

This patio by the water is situated in Old Montreal. It attracts all the business crowd as well as all the trendy beautiful people go here on Thursday evenings.

Le Sainte-Elizabeth Pub
1412 Ste-Catherine West, Montreal
This hidden little pub terrasse serves imported beers at 4$ and has a great selection of whiskeys. Like all pubs it is open till 3 am.

Terrasses Bonsecours

Newly renovated this terrasse offers a panoramic view of Old Montreal. With Dj's on Thursday through Saturday.

This covered terrasse combines fine Italian dinning with a beautiful setting. With its outside bar and impeccable service, you're guaranteed a great experience. One of the most beautiful patios in the city.

If you put aside the sometimes doubtful clientele this rooftop terrasse has a small little pool and has a beautiful view of downtown Montreal.
