Le Four restaurants are well decorated and evoke a traditional sense with materials like wood and bricks, which imitates the style of an old house. There are vine trees running along the walls and structures of the establishments. The atmosphere is generally warm. On certain nights, it is joyful due to a live band that plays classics from the last two decades. This relaxing ambiance will add joy to your evening.
For starter, we had the ‘Le Four Trio’ which is a plate made of a variety of three types of appetizers. It is big enough for two people. There were fried zucchinis, fried calamaris as well as bruschettas. The zucchinis were breaded and tasted amazingly! The calamaris and bruschettas were not my favorites. We also ate some Salsiccia Italiana, which are spicy Italian sausages that have been grilled to perfection and accompanied by a Dijon sauce. The latter were spicy but truly delicious and will satisfy most!
At the restaurant Le Four, the menu is very diverse. You will find eighteen (18) types of pizzas like the Napolitana, the Sicilian, the Florentine and the Québécoise. For a few additional dollars, you can add seafood and vegetables as extras to your pizza. Evidently, many pasta dishes are also available such as the uncontested spaghetti, the fettuccini and the traditional lasagna, which are cooked in various ways.
For the main course, we chose the traditional Pizza Calabrese, the Calzone and a plate of Agnello & Gamberi (lamb and shrimps). The pizza, topped with tomato sauce, cheese, Italian sausages, mushrooms and black olives, was succulent! The chefs use the wood oven to cook the pizza so that the cheese melts perfectly on the toppings and that the crust turns out crispy while still leaving a pleasant essence of hot wood. The calzone, Pizza Calabrese turned into a sandwich with onions added, came with an Italian salad and proved to be just as good as its predecessor! As for the lamb and shrimps plate, it was composed of romarin lamb cutlets cooked the way you like it and served with grilled garlic shrimps, rice and grilled vegetables comprised of yellow and green zucchinis and corn. We had a bottle of 2002 Saint-Véran with our meal, which was sweet white wine. Even if their wine list is limited, they still offer a good selection. For dessert, you can take an original plate of pizza topped with fresh cut pears, apricots and grapes.
Also, the diversity of the menu is represented by a various choice of meat including chicken, veal and beef. Fish lovers will satisfy their appetite with salmon and tilapia. Soups and salads are also incorporated. At Le Four Resto, families always welcomed. Indeed, there is a menu especially for children.
Bottom line, give it a try. The pizzas are Fourmidable! Here are some locations:
