"Terrific restaurant for breakfast or lunch"
This place has been around since the 1950s and the owner is still working the floor every day.. he's almost 90 years old and you can tell he still really cares about his customers. There were 5 of us waiting in line and it took just 5 minutes for us to be seated on a busy Sunday morning in February.
When we first got there they told us we'd have to pay cash because their machine was down. We told our server it was no problem but they had it fixed by the end of our meal anyways!
The food was delicious and plenty per serving - the bagels were especially fresh. I'm a huge brunch fan.. we all had the eggs with a bagel, potatoes, bacon, sausage, a bagel, and even pancakes.. (yes, this was all under $10). Simply delicious. The milkshakes were also massive and sooo good.
Definitely recommend this restaurant for brunch in Montreal.
