"A Discrace to Montreal hospitality"
I went there with a friend last week. Nice decor, too bad the hosts wasn't either. We were told we couldn't sit in the lounge area in the bar section because we were only 2 people, despite having more then enough room free, I would of understood if it was a busy night. We then walked downstairs to the restaurant section to have a seat. We finaly chassed down a host to seat us, he looked anoyed after he found out we didn't have a reservation. Again understandable if it was a busy night, but the restaurant was half empty. He then proceeded to seat us, like we were bothering him. At that point my date and I were pretty uncomfortable there, so we decided to skip the meal and have drinks instead. The waitress Stephanie was the only bright light in this horrible place. After our first drink the host started moving tables and asked if we can move our table....we were in the way...at that point i've had enough. Asked for my bill and got the hell out of there. He offered to give us free digestives....The only thing i couldn't digest was the rudeness. Never going back again and will spread the word vigorously amongst friends. It's a shame a beautiful restaurant like that can't hire capable managers to run the place. I wish I can have my evening back!
