Located conveniently in the heart of St-Lambert, Kapetan is a family restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and supper. The reception hall caters to business meetings, weddings, group parties and many other occasions. Kapetan was established in 1968 and has been a landmark ever since. Kapetan's casual food caters to all ages. With a wide variety of dishes, using only the finest and freshest ingredients prepared simple but with imagination. Drawing its inspiration at the same time from resources of the surrounding fertile nature and from borrowings coming from farther horizons. Kapetan is the celebration of flavors and senses.

"Surprise!"
While shopping in South Shore, I was looking for a place to have lunch. There are a lot of restaurants in Saint Lambert on Victoria St. but many are not open on Sunday for lunch. We noticed a lot of people entering and exiting Kapetan so, I grabbed a spot on the patio and the nice hostess offered me the brunch or lunch menu, which was very much appreciated. We chose the Greek and oriental salads.
Both salads were generous sizes and fresh. There was at least two choices of wines by the glass in white and red.
The patio is located on the main street but not too close to the street.
The service was EXCELLENT and even a smile from Marie Eve.
I will be returning one night for their barbecue.
